The Sights of Rome - the BOOK

Ciao a tutti!

I couldn't be more pleased to announce to the "Sights" readers the IMMINENT PUBLICATION of the book The Sights of Rome. Many of you over the past few years have encouraged me to publish the "Sights" in book form, and now it is about to come to pass. The book will be available sometime in late February, but the WEB SITE is active as of today.

The book will be available in a number of ways:

1. By a direct order from the web site
2. Through bookstores nationwide in the U.S.
3. Eventually through amazon.com

For those of you who are IN ITALY, the cost of ordering from the web site is really prohibitive. However, the book will be available in selected bookstores in Rome beginning in late February or early March. Eventually I hope to make it available in other Italian cities as well as elsewhere in Europe.

This is a project which I have been working on for well over a year and a half with the help and encouragement of several people, whose names you will see in the Acknowledgments in the book.
